SUNY Corning Community Colleges Planetarium is now the Digital Dome
Theater, offering the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of
Pennsylvania more than a valuable astronomical resource. The newly
renovated Digital Dome is equipped to offer educational experiences for
all disciplines.
The new digital technology seamlessly integrates data, models, videos,
and graphics from across the educational spectrum to engage audiences in
a new immersive educational experience. The Corning Community College
Digital Dome provides audiences with inspiring and amazing multimedia
voyages on a 360 degree dome that are accessible to audiences of all
ages and interests. The Dome offers programming for the public, schools,
other groups, and private rentals.
